United States Olympic Teams Poised to Win Gold

The 2016 Rio Olympics are here, and a lot of people cannot wait for their favorite games to begin. One of the nations that people from all over the world have always looked at is the United States. The United States have always performed prominently in the quadrennial games, always a medal count leader.

American Team 2016 Rio Olympics

This year, the most anticipated events that the United States are participating in are men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and women’s soccer. Here’s the run-down.

Basketball

The United States Basketball team secured their participation in the Olympics by winning the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup. The Team is composed of 12 NBA players and coached by one of the most successful collegiate coaches of all time – Mike Krzyzewski.
