Lottery Picks for the 2016 NBA Draft

This year’s NBA draft has some promising prospects. Several players will have a chance to be picked up as a rookie in the upcoming draft, of which fourteen will be lottery picks. Below are the some hot prospects for lottery picks for the 2016 NBA draft.

  1. Ben Simmons. Forward from Louisiana State University. The 6 foot ten big man has been the consensus number one pick in all of the talks coming into the draft.
  2. Brandon Ingram from Duke. A 6 foot 9 forward whose versatility is pegged with his ability to handle the ball very well.
  3. Dragan Bender is 7-footer from Israel. Has the height of a center but the skills of a forward. A good passer for his height.
  4. Jaylen Brown from the University Of California. Has the signs of a good all around player with athleticism and good defensive skills.
  5. Kris Dunn a point guard from Providence. His shoulder is totally healed and another year of waiting has bore fruits for his stock in the draft.
  6. Jamal Murray is a guard from Kentucky. While he has good game, what could be with further training is yet to be seen.
  7. Buddy Hield, a shooting guard from the University of Oklahoma. He can do a lot of damage on the open court as well as from medium range.
  8. Jakob Poeltl, Center from the University Of Utah. The Austrian 7-footer seems not scared on banging bodies with other players. However, he will be tested with more physical players in the pro ranks.
  9. Henry Ellenson is six foot ten post up player from Marquette. This man can be an asset in an up-tempo game as well as in set ups.
  10. Skal Labissiere is another 7-footer on the list. Was a high prospect until some team owners showed concern about his willingness to play aggressively at the NBA level.
  11. Deyonta Davis is a 6-10 power forward from Michigan State is one player who is willing to be developed.
  12. Timothy Luwawu is a Serbian wingman is a known scorer and good passer.
  13. Marquese Chriss is 6-9 with an athletic game than can prove useful in creating mismatches in the power forward position.
  14. Domantas Sabonis is a 6-10 power forward and is the son of legendary Arvydas Sabonis. The guy gives 100 % effort every time he’s on the court.
